The stream near our campsite at Primrose

Primrose
We got up in the morning excited about our marine tour. The weather was cloudy, rainy and cold - just like every other day up until that point. When we walked up to the counter to check in to the tour, the clerk said it had been cancelled. Supposedly they tried to take an earlier boat out and the seas were as rough as they'd ever seen them. We rescheduled our tour for the next day.
We decided to head north and check out this campground we read about in our guide book. Primrose is a small campground - only 10 spots. When we pulled in, we were lucky enough to find a secluded one toward the back. A welcome wagon of mosquitoes with 2-foot wingspans greeted us as if they were expecting our arrival. When we got out of the RV, we couldn't get the DEET on fast enough. We slathered ourselves in it. We grilled sausage wraps and hung out by the creek that runs through the campground. We were tired so we headed back to the RV for a quick nap, then loaded up and went on a short hike along one of the many trails. We hiked up and down hills and around a pristine meadow. I'd say we walked about 3 miles then headed back to the RV, then back along the bumpy road to Miller's Landing.
We decided to cook hamburgers, but our propane grill didn't work worth a crap. We ended up cooking them inside the RV amidst the sound of the way-too-sensitive smoke detector. They were pretty much raw when we ate them, but we had full bellies when we headed off to bed.
