Angel Fire

The continental breakfast at the Super 8 consisted of waffles, donuts, muffins and cereal. We ate a quick breakfast and then headed toward Las Vegas and then Angel Fire. When we arrived, we realized that no one quite knew where we were supposed to go. We drove around for a while before asking for directions. The place we were staying was located right next to the main ski lift. It was a 4 story condo with the kitchen and living area on the third floor. It took us about 5 trips up the stairs to unload all of our stuff.
After getting settled in, we went for lunch at a place called Our Place Cafe. We all shared a huge portion of buffalo nachos and then ate chili for our main dishes. After lunch, we headed back to the condo to catch a nap. About an hour into our nap, we heard banging on the front door. My mom and Jenna had arrived. We made another 5 trips up and down the stairs unloading their stuff.
We spent the evening eating tortilla soup, playing games, decorating our fake Christmas tree and watching our Europe trip video. Before we went to bed, Courtney and I had to get beat one more time at Rook by my Dad and Eric. They hit a 100-point hand to finish out the game.
