Heading Home

Check-out time was 10:00 am, and we left just in time. We said goodbye to Mom and Jenna and headed toward Lubbock. Our plan was to get there some time before the Texas vs. Arizona State game started at 6:30 pm. As we approached Lubbock, my dad made a few phone calls to try and find a sports bar where we could enjoy the game. We found one that was recommended, but it was too far away from the Super 8. We ended up watching the game at a BW3 on the south side of town, not far from the hotel. Texas won the game handily.
Tomorrow we would head home to Austin, which would signal the end of our trip.
