Introduction
The Weynands and Jones' both had relatives staying in Europe. Eric Weynand and Caitlin Jones were spending time studying in Italy, with Eric in Bologna and Caitlin in Milan. What an excuse to go to Europe!
The four of us, Courtney, Nick, Shea and Tommy, planned out the trip, loaded up and took off for a 2-week excursion through Germany, Austria and Italy. We packed about as much in as we could, witnessing sights like the famous Hofbrauhaus in Munich, Mozart's birth house in Salzburg, Venice's Grand Canal, the hills of Tuscany and the Coliseum in Rome.
It wasn't all about the ancient sites though. We learned a lot about what it means to be European, like "coffee" really means "espresso shot," "car" really means "golf cart" and you don't have to be nice all the time.
We made some major memories on this trip, got to know each other a little better, and hope to return some day.
