On Vacation We Went To...A Mall?

We were supposed to be en route to Europe by now but the delays left us trapped in Chicago for a day. Our flight was set to leave at 5:00 p.m. Not so bad huh? Chicago's a fun city. Except for the fact that it was an hour-long, $80 cab ride to downtown and there was nothing good to do near our hotel. What did we decide to do? We decided to go to the mall.

We took a 15 minute cab ride to the Woodfield Mall. It looked like every other mall we had ever seen, but we tried to make the most of it. We walked around for a while, then we were approached by a flamboyant young man asking if we'd like to take part in a survey. Since we had some time to kill we said yes. The girls spent the next couple of hours smelling shampoos and the boys sampled cologne. All of the cologne smelled terrible to me (Nick) and I rated it as such on the survey. When we got done with the first survey, we were asked to provide feedback on the pilot of a sitcom that was coming out soon. The show was called "Carpoolers" and we all thought it was pretty funny. Watch for it soon coming to a network near you.

We took a cab to the airport and boarded our plane bound for London — no delays this time. We lost 6 hours on the flight so that does it for Day 2.
