Training then a Night in Vancouver

We trained for the first part of the day, then started getting hungry for lunch. Laura Idziszek, the person training us that day, recommended that we get sushi to go and eat it by the water. Vancouver is known for its great sushi and the weather was perfect for eating outside. We took her up on her recommendation.
After lunch we trained until about 5:00, then made plans to meet up with some folks from Marqui for dinner. We met Rick in the lobby of our hotel and walked about 10 blocks to the Gotham Steakhouse. It was a cozy restaurant with three floors. Caroling, Mike and I, along with Jackie Reid and Rick Patri from Marqui sat on the 3rd floor. I ordered a thick New York strip for dinner; after all, Marqui was paying for it. We had a long dinner and drank coffee for desert.
After dinner, we decided to go check out the Vancouver nightlife. We visited a few bars in the area and stayed out until about midnight.
